Yamaha P71: Pros & Cons
The Yamaha P71 features full-sized, weighted keys (extremely responsive and velocity-sensitive). Its slim and lightweight, and offers great value for money.
Bundled accessories include charging adapter, sustain pedal, and sheet holder (music rest).
- Pros: Inexpensive, Nice sound and touch, Excellent value, Portable
- Cons: Few sounds and features. Keys makes clicking noise while playing. Overall volume from the speakers isn’t very loud. Samples not as good as mid-level digital pianos, sound deteriorates as you go to the highest notes and lowest notes (but for the cost you get an 88-key portable piano – No tuning, No maintenance).

The Yamaha P71 is a beginner home digital piano that you can use for learning and practicing piano. A full sized piano keyboard with fully-weighted keys (allows a more realistic playing experience) and nice Yamaha voices in a lightweight body.
Weighted Keys: The piano features Yamaha’s GHS (Graded Hammer Standard) weighted action has heavier touch in the low end and lighter touch in the high end. Great for serious beginners, helps build proper finger technique.
Simple & Easy Operation: Many of the settings on the P71 can be changed with a single button. Simply hold down the ‘Grand Piano/Function’ button and press selected keys to change voices, play demo sources, configure the metronome, and so on.
