If you live in Europe, you may have heard about the Thomann brand; Thomann is a German-based retailer of musical instruments, studio, lighting, and pro-audio equipment. Now, under its own brand, they have launched their own range of affordable digital pianos.
Thomann makes Stage pianos, Upright Digital pianos (all under the DP series) and accessories like Digital Piano Stands.
Thomann digital pianos are ensemble pianos that include several voices, styles, and features. The display, the arrangement of the buttons on these pianos is very similar to that on an arranger keyboard. Thomann is taking the Casio route here by producing inexpensive pianos that will appeal to the very beginner and budget-conscious buyers.

If you’re buying an inexpensive-starter model, do checkout the models from Casio & Yamaha as well. The same goes for high ed pianos, do checkout the ones from amaha, Roland, Kawai, Korg.
Thomann is a trusted brand in Europe, so even if their pianos are made in China you can expect the overall quality to be better. It really doesn’t matter where a piano is manufactured, if the management is committed to providing a top quality instrument.
