Story of The Pianist Movie
The movie is about a Pianist called Szpilman, who is a brilliant pianist working for Warsaw Radio. Life is good for him until the Nazis occupy Warsaw. Living conditions then start to worsen for the Jewish population.
Separated from his closed ones, Szpilman somehow manages to survive… by lying low and with help from complete strangers. In the process, he also learns about the German plans to exterminate all the Jews… and about the planned Jewish uprising against the Germans.
Somehow he manages to hang on through all this… and survives.
Finally, when the Germans are about to leave Warsaw, Szpilman is spotted by a German Officer. But it is his gift of music that perhaps finally saves his life. The German officer get sympathetic towards him and spares him.
