Nancy Bachus: Piano Performer, Teacher, Music Historian & Author
Nancy Bachus is a music teacher, piano recitalist, music historian, and author of several books on music performance and technique (mostly written for Alfred books).
Nancy Bachus is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music, and has studied with pianist Eugene List and accompanist Brooks Smith.
A regular at various piano teacher organizations and music conventions, Nancy has also performed in the original “Monster Concerts” in New York City (Lincoln Center, Radio City and Carnegie Hall), the White House and on the two “Monster Concert” recordings.
Nancy is the Associate Editor for Repertoire and Performance for Clavier Companion magazine. Her articles have been published in Clavier and Keyboard Companion (now Clavier Companion).
