ABRSM is the exam board of the Royal Schools of Music and a leading authority on musical assessment, nt just in the UK but in several countries around the world. ABRSM supports high-quality music learning and offer highest quality music exams, services and resources.
ABRSM graded practical and theory exams are accredited in England by the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual). They are part of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF), a scheme for recognizing skills and qualifications in the UK education system.
Within the QCF, qualifications are organized according to difficulty (Level) and size ( Credits).
London College of Music (LCM), at the University of West London, offers an exciting range of advanced courses, that is respected worldwide. London College of Music Examinations is an international examinations board offering graded and diploma qualifications in music, drama and communication.
Rockschool offer Graded Music Exams in rock and pop and offers Diplomas in Teaching and Performance. The qualifications regulators of England, (Ofqual) Wales, (DfES) and Northern Ireland (CCEA) accredit Rockschool Graded Music Exams. They are Entry Level (Debut) to Grade 8 plus the Teaching and Performance Diplomas. The qualifications regulator of Scotland (SQA Accreditation) also accredits Rockschool Graded Music Exams, Grades 1 to 8.
Trinity College London is a global exam board and each year thousands of candidates in several countries take a Trinity assessment. Trinity music exams are globally recognized and indeed fully accredited by Ofqual (Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation). They are also recognized by other education authorities in many nations around the world.
