Casio SP33 Pedal Board: Pros & Cons
- PROS: Works well, good build quality, improves the overall looks of the keyboard and stand
- CONS: Though the pedals themselves are heavy & attractive the board is made of plastic
Who is it for?
Anyone who wants 3-pedals (most beginners usually need a single sustain pedal).
Casio SP33 3-Pedal Unit: Review
Using the piano pedal is an important part of playing the piano, and that is why its available as an accessory for digital keyboards & pianos. The more popular pedal (accessory) is a sustain pedal, but on an acoustic piano you actually have a 3-pedal unit. Now for your privia pianos and the CGP compact pianos, you can actually get a three pedal attachment that attaches to the CS67 Privia Stand!
The SP33 pedal features damper, soft, and sostenuto pedals, all in a single unit and provides those extra piano dynamics while playing the piano. This pedal also supports half-pedal operation, which simulates a pedal that has been pressed down half way down.
How to Plug in the 3-Pedal Attachment?
This unit attaches to the CS-67 Keyboard Stand. The connector of this pedal-unit will need to be inserted in the jack (usually at the bottom of the keyboard). Its easy to identify this jack as it looks different from a standalone pedal plug.
Will this pedal work with any Casio keyboard? If your Casio keyboard doesn’t have this plug/jack, the P33 will not work with it.
