The downside of the design is that it makes the keyboard somewhat less portable, you just cannot pick up the keyboard and move it. You cannot fold it up & transport it without unscrewing all the thumbscrews. However, if you’re not going to travel a lot with the keyboard, this shouldn’t be a big issue.
The L3C stand is compatible with most 61-key Yamaha keyboards and will bolt on as mentioned. But if you have a 76-key DGX or YPG Keyboard, it will not fit the keyboard.

Besides, the X-frame stand doesn’t allow storage space or adequate place for your legs underneath the keyboard.
Take Care Of The Screws While Assembling
Some of these stands may require some assembly. When you assemble it the first time, make sure the screws and the other parts don’t fall down and get lost (in the carpet or goes under the bed); its very easy to misplace them while assembling. So be careful.
